Cymbidium chloranthum
This species is unusual in that it is epiphytic but has upright spikes where most other epiphytic species have arching or pendulous spikes.  The scape is 30-47 cm long with between 15 and 25 yellow green 3 cm flowers.

Culture

I have grown this species both in the heated glasshouse and cold but are yet to flower it.  It however seems to appreciate the heat.

Habitat

On trees in evergreen tropical forests, in moist shade .

W Malaysia, Sumatra, Java and Borneo. 250 - 1000m
